Associated Materials LLC in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, has made a change in the CEO suite that returns for now former chief executive Dana Snyder to the top post.
The producer of vinyl windows, siding and other exterior building materials said Jerry Burris has resigned as CEO and a director to pursue other interests. It was not more specific.
Associated Materials said Snyder will serve as interim CEO while the company's board conducts a search for a permanent CEO.
In commenting on the change, Associated Estates chairman Erik Ragatz said in a news release, "We are thankful for Jerry's significant contributions to AMI during his tenure as chief executive. Under Jerry's leadership, AMI has made significant progress toward our strategic imperatives, including enhancing our customers' experience and positioning the company for sustainable long-term growth. We wish Jerry the best in the next phase of his career."
Burris said he is "proud that our team's accomplishments have positioned the company for a strong future."
"As a shareholder of AMI, I look forward to following its continued success over the coming years," Burris said.
Snyder, who has served an Associated Materials director since 2004, said he is "very pleased to be rejoining the AMI management team."
